- Live offer lookup data — the search responses returned by our price providers.
- Saved result data — when enabled, so you can return to your calculation.
- Email address — only if you sign up for price alerts or contact us.
- Cookie consent preferences — your choices on this site.
- Analytics data — if and when analytics is enabled.
- Advertising data — if and when advertising is enabled (see section 5).
- Affiliate click data — if and when affiliate links are clicked.
- Server logs — IP address, browser, device, request path and timestamp.
3. Why we use data

4. What we don't collect
No name, no postal address, no payment details — TopOrHop is free. No browser fingerprinting beyond what advertising partners may do under their own policies (see section 5).
5. Advertising disclosure
This website may display advertising, including Google AdSense or similar ad networks. Third parties, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar technologies to serve, personalize, limit, measure and report on ads.
Where required by law, users will be asked for consent before advertising cookies or similar technologies are used. For users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, we plan to integrate a Google-certified Consent Management Platform with IAB TCF before enabling live AdSense traffic.

6. Third-party data processors
- PricesAPI — fetches live replacement offers. Receives only your search query and country.
- Google AdSense — when enabled, serves ads. Subject to Google's own policies.
- Affiliate networks — when you click an offer link, the destination retailer may set its own cookies.
- Hosting and CDN — serves the website and processes server logs.
7. Your rights
You can request a copy or deletion of any data we hold tied to your session ID by emailing info@capitalmedia.marketing. Where applicable, you also have the right to object to processing, restrict processing and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We respond to verifiable requests within 30 days.
8. Children
TopOrHop is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes
We will update the "Last updated" date above whenever this policy changes. Material changes will be communicated on the website.
