Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 April 2026

1. Acceptance

By using TopOrHop ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the Service.

2. What TopOrHop is

TopOrHop is a free decision-support tool that estimates whether repairing or replacing a product is the more rational choice based on user-provided inputs and live market prices. It is informational only — not financial, legal, or technical advice.

3. Acceptable use

  • Don't scrape, frame, or systematically extract data from TopOrHop without written permission.
  • Don't use the Service to build a competing repair-or-replace product.
  • Don't attempt to bypass technical or commercial limits.
  • Don't submit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content via any input field.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is". We make no guarantee that prices shown are accurate at any moment, that recommendations are correct for your specific case, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. See the Disclaimer for full details.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TopOrHop and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to repair costs incurred, replacements purchased, or income lost from following a recommendation.

6. Affiliate disclosure

Some "View offer" links may earn TopOrHop a small commission, at no extra cost to you. This compensation never influences the repair-or-replace recommendation, which is calculated independently before offers are shown.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Ireland.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
